Illini Cycling is a bike riding club at the University of Illinois. Illini Cycling was originally founded in 1989 by Ray VonFouche and Nels Hackl under the name of "Illinois Bike Racing Club". Since 1989, the club has undergone some rather dramatic growth. We now boast a massive roster of team members, with riders from casual to competitive, in the different disciplines of mountain, road and track cycling. The club is built on a foundation of mentorship and an allergy to being serious. Come for the rides and laughs, leave with a smile and stronger legs!
